Candidates applying for the DBW posts must meet the following eligibility conditions.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT.
The mandatory trade is:
- AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant)
Candidates from the following feeder trades may also apply if sufficient AOCP candidates are not available:
- IMCP
- MMCP
- LACP
- Fitter
- Electrician
Candidates from feeder trades must undergo one month of compulsory in-house training if selected.

- AOCP Trade Apprentices (from Ordnance Factories or Government-affiliated organizations)
- Feeder Trade Apprentices (from Ordnance Factories or Government-affiliated organizations)

- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years

- Trade Test / Practical Test – 20% weightage
The Trade Test will be conducted at Ordnance Factory Bhandara.

Selected candidates will receive the following salary and benefits:
- Basic Pay: ₹19,900
- Dearness Allowance (DA) as per central government rules
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) if company accommodation is not available
- Annual Increment: 3% on basic pay (based on performance)
- Risk Allowance and Night Duty Allowance
- EPF benefits
- Coverage under Employee’s Compensation Act, 1923
- 30 days of leave per year
