New Honda Gold Wing 2025 Launch: Premium 6-Cylinder Engine, Advanced 7-Speed DCT & Luxury Touring Features!

The 2025 Honda Gold Wing marks a milestone: it celebrates 50 years since the original Gold Wing first debuted in 1975. For half a century, the Gold Wing platform has defined what a luxury touring motorcycle can be, balancing smooth power, comfort, long-distance capability, and refinement. The 2025 update brings both tribute-worthy styling and modern upgrades, so riders get the heritage and the technology together.

This version is offered worldwide, and in India, the 2025 Gold Wing Tour (50th Anniversary Edition) was officially launched in 2025 via the company’s premium dealership network

What’s New in the 2025 Model

Special 50th Anniversary Styling

To mark the 50-year legacy, the 2025 Gold Wing gets signature touches:

  • A special “50th Anniversary” badge and “Since 1975” emblem on the instrument cluster — visible when you start the bike.
  • Dedicated paint and livery options: for the Tour version, you get colours like Bordeaux Red Metallic and Eternal Gold that pay homage to past classic Gold Wings. For the standard Gold Wing (non-Tour), a Matte Black Metallic finish with bold Gold Wing logos on saddlebags and side fairings.
  • Early buyers of the anniversary edition also receive commemorative gifts — a hardbound book chronicling the 50-year history, and a 1:12 scale desktop model showing the 1975 and 2025 Gold Wings side by side.

These touches make the 2025 Gold Wing not just a means of transport, but a collector-worthy tribute to Honda’s touring legacy.

Performance, Engine and Mechanical Highlights

Underneath its classy exterior, the 2025 Gold Wing remains the powerhouse and smooth tourer fans expect:

  • The heart of the bike is a 1,833 cc horizontally opposed flat-six engine, known for smooth delivery and strong torque — ideal for long highway rides and heavy loads.
  • The chassis uses a double-wishbone front suspension. This design enhances stability and handling, making a heavy touring bike more manageable and confidence-inspiring, especially at speed or over long rides.
  • Transmission options remain flexible: standard versions may come with a manual gearbox or the sophisticated dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for easier, smoother shifting.

Overall, the 2025 Gold Wing continues its legacy as a refined, powerful, and comfortable long-distance motorcycle.

Technology & Comfort Upgrades

To match modern expectations, the 2025 Gold Wing adds a suite of tech and comfort features:

  • A 7.0-inch full-colour TFT display for navigation, ride data and media. On startup, it shows a welcome message referencing the Gold Wing’s 50-year legacy.
  • Wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making it easier to link your phone for navigation, music or calls — without cables.
  • Dual USB Type-C ports, Bluetooth, upgraded speaker/audio system — handy for touring riders who rely on gadgets.
  • Full LED lighting, aerodynamic vents, modern cockpit ergonomics — all tuned for comfort and safety over long rides.
  • Advanced safety and assist features: dual-channel ABS, traction control, throttle-by-wire, and on select variants, even an airbag — underscoring its status as a premium, safety-oriented tourer.

With these, the 2025 Honda Gold Wing offers a seamless blend of luxury, comfort, and connectivity — appealing to riders who want a fully modern touring experience.

What It Means for Indian Buyers

For buyers in India, the 2025 Gold Wing Tour (50th Anniversary Edition) launched at ₹39.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram). The bookings opened via the premium BigWing Topline dealerships, with deliveries expected to begin in June 2025

Given that the Gold Wing is imported as a fully built unit (CBU), buyers get a globally recognised flagship touring motorcycle, now with the added prestige of the 50th anniversary edition. For those who value long-distance comfort, modern tech and legacy appeal, the 2025 Honda Gold Wing represents a strong statement.

Why the 2025 Honda Gold Wing Still Matters

  • It celebrates a half-century legacy. Few motorcycles maintain relevance and desirability for 50 years — which shows how well the Gold Wing balances design, performance and purpose.
  • It brings modern touring technology into a proven platform; riders get the comfort and reliability of the Gold Wing, plus modern connectivity, safety, and convenience.
  • It remains one of the most complete long-distance touring motorcycles available — with a powerful engine, comfortable ergonomics, premium features, and the build quality expected from a global brand.
  • For enthusiasts and touring lovers, owning the 2025 model is also about heritage and identity — the 50th Anniversary badge, commemorative items, and special finishes make it more than just a bike.

The 2025 Honda Gold Wing is more than a new bike; it’s a celebration of five decades of touring excellence. By combining the refined performance and comfort that made the Gold Wing legendary with modern technology and anniversary-grade styling, Honda has crafted a motorcycle that appeals not only to seasoned touring enthusiasts but also to riders who appreciate luxury, heritage, and long-distance capability.

Suppose you’re considering a grand touring bike. In that case, whether for cross-country road trips, long highway cruises, or simply the joy of riding in comfort, the 2025 Gold Wing offers a compelling package: power, elegance, modern convenience, and a legacy that few motorcycles can match.

TVS Apache RTX — The New Benchmark in Affordable Adventure Motorcycles

TVS Apache RTX is not just another motorcycle — it represents a new philosophy: making adventure-ready bikes accessible, practical, and enjoyable for everyday riders. Designed to merge sporty performance, touring comfort, and daily usability, Apache RTX stands out in its class as a versatile, value-driven machine. Whether you ride through city traffic, cruise on highways, or hit rough patches on rural roads, RTX aims to adapt and deliver.

Engine & Performance: Balanced Power for Real-World Use

At the heart of Apache RTX lies a finely tuned engine that offers a strong balance between performance and practicality. The powertrain delivers robust torque output at manageable rpm, giving the bike enough grunt for climbing inclines, overtaking traffic, or carrying a pillion and luggage without strain. The multi-gear transmission offers smooth shifts and reliable control, whether you are accelerating from standstill or cruising at high speed.

Engine

  • Apache RTX is powered by a 299.1 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine — a product of the all-new RT-XD4 platform developed in-house by TVS.
  • It produces 36 PS at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm — a strong specification for a sub-300 cc bike targeting adventure and touring.

Performance

  • Transmission is via a 6-speed gearbox, featuring assist and slipper clutch for smoother downshifts, coupled with a bi-directional quickshifter — useful for both spirited riding and quick gear changes on highways or trails.
  • The engine is tuned for versatility — capable of efficient cruising on highways, stable performance on city roads, and potent enough for light off-road conditions.

This engine character makes RTX a highly usable motorcycle: responsive enough for spirited rides, yet composed and efficient for daily commuting or longer touring.

Chassis & Suspension: Built for Versatility

Apache RTX’s chassis and suspension setup reflect a thoughtful design for real-world versatility. The frame is engineered to provide stability and durability, ensuring firmness under load while retaining agility in corners. The suspension system offers a well-judged balance: firm enough to absorb bumps and uneven patches on rough roads, yet compliant enough to remain comfortable on smooth urban tarmac.

Apache RTX’s underpinnings reflect its dual-purpose ambition:

  • The bike uses a steel trellis frame, which offers structural rigidity while keeping weight optimized.
  • The suspension setup is premium — 41 mm inverted WP (USD) front fork and a mono-tube floating piston rear shock. This long-travel suspension system is designed to soak up rough terrain while providing stability on tarmac.

Suspension

  • Suspension travel and clearance are tuned for adventure: the setup delivers confident handling on uneven roads without compromising comfort on city or highway runs.
  • Braking is handled by front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS (switchable), offering safety and control on unpredictable terrain or wet surfaces.

This makes RTX not just a highway tourer, but also a reliable city-friendly ride, and a competent companion on rural, uneven terrain.

Riding Comfort & Ergonomics: Practical and Rider-Friendly

Riding comfort often falls by the wayside in performance-oriented bikes — but not with Apache RTX. The riding posture is upright and natural, reducing fatigue even on long journeys. Seat padding offers a balance between firmness and comfort, supporting both short city rides and extended travel. The handlebar, footpegs, and seat geometry together create a riding stance that is neither too aggressive nor too relaxed — ideal for riders who want a bike for “all-round use.”

Whether you are weaving through traffic or cruising down an open highway, RTX keeps rider comfort and control in check.

Features & Utility: Modern Expectations on a Mid-Segment Bike

What distinguishes RTX from many others in its category is the attention to modern necessities and rider convenience. It incorporates features that many premium motorcycles carry — but does so at a relatively affordable package.

From user-friendly gearing and responsive throttle to stable braking and well-balanced handling, Apache RTX offers a complete toolkit for everyday use, occasional touring, and even longer rides. For a mid-segment bike, this level of utility and adaptability gives riders flexibility: one machine that can double as a city commuter, weekend tourer, or adventure companion.

Design & Styling: Blending Aggression with Practicality

The design of Apache RTX strikes a compelling balance: it wears a sporty and aggressive stance that reflects its performance nature, while maintaining practicality and subtlety that avoids excess. The bodywork is sculpted yet functional. Ground clearance, proportions, and ergonomics are all calibrated for a wide range of road and riding conditions. Lightning-fast curves, sharp lines, and a purposeful posture — all contribute to a bike that looks ready to ride out of the showroom and into the open road.

The aesthetic of Apache RTX is crafted to match its purpose:

  • The bike sports a mono-volume silhouette — with a sculpted tank merging seamlessly with the headlamp module, offering an aggressive/rally-inspired profile.
  • Its angular bodywork, muscular proportions, high-mounted exhaust and semi-faired structure strike a balance between sporty and rugged — ideal for both city rides and long tours.
  • Lighting identity — twin-beam LED headlamps, DRL blades, and distinctive tail lamp design — adds character and ensures night-time visibility.
  • Colour & finish options: from earthy tones to bold shades, complemented with signature decals and textures that reflect the adventurous spirit.

The design makes it clear: RTX isn’t just a commuter — it’s a machine built for exploration and boldness.

Who Apache RTX Is For: Versatile Riders with Diverse Needs

Apache RTX is ideal for riders who:

  • Want a motorcycle capable of daily commuting, but also ready for weekend touring.
  • Prefer versatility over specialisation — a bike that performs capably across city, highway, and rough roads.
  • Value comfort, reliability and usability rather than purely sport-bike aggression or heavy-duty off-road ruggedness.
  • Are you looking for a single bike that can adapt to different usage patterns: daily rides, occasional long rides, urban and semi-urban commuting?

If you want one bike that can do it all — within reasonable cost and maintenance — Apache RTX fits that requirement well.

Potential Trade-Offs: What to Keep Realistic Expectations About

No motorcycle is perfect for everything. With Apache RTX, potential riders should consider:

  • It’s designed as a versatile “all-rounder,” so it won’t match specialized bikes if you demand aggressive off-road performance or niche racing characteristics.
  • Its strength lies in balance — for heavy-duty off-road, or heavy load + rough terrain + long-distance touring with passenger + luggage, expectations should be moderate.
  • As with any mid-range motorcycle, regular maintenance, thoughtful riding style, and practical load management matter to get consistent performance and long life.

Apache RTX emerges as a smart, balanced, and practical choice in the landscape of motorcycles. It does not claim to be the fastest, nor the most hardcore off-road machine — instead, it offers reliability, versatility, comfort, and value in a single package.

For riders who prefer a pragmatic motorcycle that adapts to their lifestyle — whether urban commuting, weekend rides, or occasional countryside exploration — Apache RTX offers the perfect middle ground. It is a bike that understands everyday riders: what they need, when they need it, and how they ride.

In a world where motorcycles often demand trade-offs, Apache RTX shows that balance is possible — combining enough performance, comfort, and practicality to satisfy a wide variety of needs. If you’re looking for a dependable, flexible, and enjoyable riding companion, Apache RTX is a solid, realistic choice.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 Launched In India : A Detailed Discussion On Engine, Chasis, Brakes, Design , Style And Price

Ducati Streetfighter V2: The Ducati Streetfighter V2 is a naked sports bike from the Ducati family that combines power, style, control and everyday usability in a single frame. It adopts the same technology as the Ducati Streetfighter V4.

The Ducati Streetfighter V2 has been designed in a lighter, simpler and more flexible performance-focused package. The new Streetfighter V2 has become particularly popular in the premium naked bike segment in India for its balanced performance, advanced electronics and modern design.

Let’s dive into the details, design, suspension, braking, features, price and overall experience in detail of the Ducati Streetfighter V2 India version.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 – Key Highlights

  • 890cc, liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin engine
  • 153 HP Power
  • 93.3 Nm (69 lb-ft) @ 8,250 rpm
  • Lightweight chassis
  • High-level electronics package
  • Fully adjustable suspension
  • Bi-directional quickshifter
  • Aggressive streetfighter styling

Engine, Performance and Weight

The Streetfighter V2 is powered by a new 890 cc, 90° V-twin engine — the lightest twin-cylinder engine Ducati has ever made, weighing just 54.4 kg. The engine produces a maximum power of 119 bhp (at 10,750 rpm) and a torque of 93.3 Nm (at 8,250 rpm). Interesting fact: 70% of the torque is available at 3,000 rpm, so that you can feel track-level power even in city or leisurely riding. If you prefer track or fast riding, the manufacturer’s racing exhaust is optional, which can increase power by ~125 bhp and reduce the total weight by 4.5 kg.

The Streetfighter V2 is really light in terms of weight: the standard V2 has a dry weight of 178 kg, and the premium V2 S has a dry weight of 175 kg. This results in much better handling, fuel balance, and control.

Chassis, suspension, and braking

The bike uses a monocoque frame, with the engine being the “stressed member” — meaning the frame + engine share multiple responsibilities. This results in less weight, and the handling becomes sharper and more responsive. The suspension setup varies depending on the variant of the bike: The standard V2 gets Marzocchi USD forks up front and Kayaba rear shocks.

The V2 S features a premium Ohlins NIX 30 fork + Ohlins rear shock, which is perfect for riding comfort and high-speed stability. Braking and gripFor swift brake performance: Brembo M50 monobloc callipers + 320 mm discs at the front, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV (120/70 front, 190/55 rear) as tyres. A Sachs steering damper is also provided for more stability and composition.

Electronics and Rider-Aid Features

One of the biggest strengths of the Streetfighter V2 is its modern electronics package:

A six-axis IMU that controls various rider-aid systems: Cornering ABS (with slide-by-brake), Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Engine-Slip Control, and Engine Brake Control. Bi-directional Quick Shifter 2.0 (clutch-less upshift & downshift) + slipper clutch for easy gear shifting. Riding modes: Race, Sport, Road, Wet — which can be changed according to different road/weather conditions.

5-inch TFT display for information and configuration, which shows different layouts according to Track or Road mode.

Design, Comfort and Usability

The bike’s design is heavily INSPIRED by its big brother, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 — twin-pod LED headlight (V-shaped DRL), muscular fuel tank, flat handlebar, split seat, single-sided swingarm and underbelly exhaust. Instead of a heavy fairing or clip-on handlebar, a flat handlebar has been used, which emphasises comfort in city or daily riding.

Included/optional accessories include customizable exhaust, lap timer, USB-power port, tyre pressure monitoring, cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, etc.

Price & Availability (in India)

The standard Ducati Streetfighter V2 starts at ₹ 17,50,200 ex-showroom. The premium variant Ducati Streetfighter V2 S is priced at ₹ 19,48,900 ex-showroom.

Prices may vary for second-hand or additional accessories.

Who is Ducati Streetfighter V2 for?

The Streetfighter V2 is a bike for those who:

  • Want modern features and electronics,
  • Are looking for both real-world riding and track use,
  • Want a light, handling, smart, and confident ride,
  • And want exclusivity with sporty looks

On the other hand, if you’re expecting “maximum power” or “superbike-level performance”, — the V2 might not be quite as “high-end.” But for its overall balance, ease of use, and sporty acceleration, many would say it’s acceptable. Each feature enhances riding by combining performance and safety.

Design & Styling

The Ducati Streetfighter V2 is as aggressive as it looks. Although the design of the bike is basically taken from the Streetfighter V4, the V2 has been given a more minimal and compact look.

Design Highlights:

  • Twin-pod LED Headlight
  • V-shaped DRL
  • Muscular Fuel Tank
  • Single-sided Swingarm
  • Sharp Tail Section
  • Underbelly Exhaust

The exhaust sound of the Streetfighter V2 is sporty and very crisp at high RPM.

Dimensions & Ergonomics

  • Seat Height: 845 mm
  • Kerb Weight: 200 kg approx
  • Fuel Tank Capacity: 17 litres

Ducati has kept a mixed dual-character in ergonomics. The handlebar is high, the seat is quite comfortable, so it feels comfortable even on long rides. At the same time, an aggressive stance is also maintained.

Tyres & Wheels

The bike has been given Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, which are specially designed for sports naked bikes.

  • Front: 120/70 ZR17
  • Rear: 180/60 ZR17

This tyre provides excellent grip at high speeds, cornering and braking.
